1. How long will my appointment take?
Appointments generally take between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the services you choose. Haircuts typically take around 30 minutes, while more extensive services like cuts and shaves or detailed beard grooming may take closer to an hour.

2. How far in advance should I book my appointment?
To ensure you get the time that works best for you, we recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during peak times.

3. Do you charge for travel?
While I am happy to travel to your location within the Ottawa and Gatineau areas, please note that there may be a travel fee for appointments outside of this designated zone. Please call to inquire.

4. How should I prepare for my appointment?

You don’t need to provide any tools or products for your appointment. However, if you prefer services indoors, it’s best to choose an uncarpeted area to facilitate cleanup. Additionally, having a chair without fabric is ideal, as hair can get stuck in fabric materials. Ultimately, the best chair or space is the one that makes you feel most comfortable! 

5. What can I expect during the appointment?
At the start of your appointment, I’ll take the time to conduct a thorough consultation to understand your desired look and any specific preferences you have in mind. Once we’re on the same page, we’ll transition into the grooming service itself, all within a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes your comfort.

To make the experience even more enjoyable, there is a TV available in the van where you can choose your favorite music or watch YouTube videos. Whether you prefer soothing melodies for a tranquil vibe or lively bachata beats for a more energetic atmosphere, the choice is entirely yours. My goal is to ensure that your grooming experience is not only satisfying but also enjoyable!

6. Can I reschedule my appointment?
Absolutely! If you need to reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees.

7. Do you accept payment by card?
Yes, I accept various forms of payment, including credit and debit cards, as well as cash.

9. Do you offer services for large parties?
Yes, I provide grooming services for large parties and events! If your booking is for 4 hours or longer, please note that I will need a 15-minute break for washroom facilities. I can give you an estimate based on the assumed number of clients to be serviced, but we will finalize the details once the event is over.

To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is required, which can be sent to thedapperbyfrancis@gmail.com. The remaining balance, along with applicable taxes, will be due at the conclusion of the event. Please ensure that you book at least 2 days in advance to allow for proper planning.
